Hello

I’m Tamunoibi Darego. I was born and raised in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. In 2014, I moved to Ghana to pursue my bachelor’s degree at Central University, where I spent five years studying architecture. During my time in Ghana, I began exploring various 3D design software and started freelancing,

After graduating in 2019, I returned to Nigeria and continued freelancing, working on various projects in Germany, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Ghana, Gambia, and Nigeria. In late 2020, I moved to the United Kingdom to further my studies at London South Bank University (LSBU), where I earned my master’s degree (Part 2).

While at LSBU, my work gained recognition—I was selected as a spotlight student, with my project featured in Dezeen magazine. In my final year, I was nominated by LSBU for the RIBA London Student Award and won the Year 5 First Prize.

In 2022, I joined BDP Pattern, the sports division of Building Design Partnership (BDP), where I worked on international stadium projects in the Middle East and the F1 Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi. In 2023, I transitioned to Populous, a global architectural and design practice specializing in sports venues and arenas

In 2024, I was endorsed by RIBA as a Global Talent to the UK.
